She tells people that she found her growth during therapy. Alessia Cara is a Canadian artist who was born the 11th of July, 1996 to parents of Italian origin. The guitar was gifted to her by her parents after she was 10, which ignited her passion for music. At the age of 13 she started covering her most loved songs via YouTube an important media platform in order to demonstrate to the world that she possessed the talent skills and the determination to be a professional singer.
