Even Rolling Stone called the song one of their Top Songs in 2015. That same year she debuted the album she titled Know It All, the single Scars to Your Beautiful ranked at the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200. The track was also one of the original five songs. The song was unique because many people related to the conversation she conducted with Rap-Up about her struggle to learn to love and accept her. Cara has earned a name for incorporating messages about the importance of mental health, kindness and self-love in her songs. She has been struggling with anxiety and insomnia, both of which affected her life. According to an Reuters interview, she described her album as half tumultuous and half well-crafted. Her growth was aided by therapy and she encourages others to seek out help when needed. Alessia Cara is a Canadian singer who was born on July 11 1996 to parents from Italian origin. The guitar was gifted to her by her parents after she was 10, which ignited her musical passion. After three years, at 13, she began singing songs she loved through YouTube. It was an excellent method to demonstrate to the world that she possessed both talent and courage. A cover of one of her songs, Sweater Weather, was what got her noticed.
