Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her writing and design. She is a proponent of the rights of animals. The actress is famous for movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). Born and raised in a family of artists in New York she wished to work in the field of arts. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. She received an award called the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw was a worldwide celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. After only three movies, she received the title of top female box-office start in the world. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. She has starred in several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among other. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
