Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke has been a pole vaulter for nearly 20 years. She was born on the 22nd March 1989, in Newport Beach California. She became a pole jumper in 2007 after a picture taken at her track event was posted aged 17. She has gained a huge popularity on social networks like Instagram and Twitter. Stokke is a track and field player like Jessica Ennis Hill. In the Los Angeles Times, among other media outlets, stated that Stokke did not seek or sought this kind of attention. The authors of their work Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society Brett Hutchins and David Rowe linked Stokke's case to that of American soccer players Alex Morgan and Hope Solo female athletes who were treated as fetishized and had their image being framed in a manner which, according to the authors, diminished their accomplishments in sport. In relation to Stokke they also observed that social media comments often referred to as insulting and blamed the sexualization process to the women. Some drew comparisons to Brandi Chastain's appearance at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup Final celebration in her sports bra, in which the athletic accomplishments of women were largely ignored because of discussions about their appearance. Stokke was photographed at New York by a Californian reporter from an online track and event website during the first half of 2007. With Leather, an online sports magazine with many male followers, posted comments on Stokke's attractiveness in the May month. The article was titled Pole Vaulting: Sexy and barely legal. Matt Ufford threatened to file an action against the photographer if that image was not removed. However, by the time the image and the article had garnered an enormous amount of attention. Stokke's photos of her pole vaulting skills were uploaded to a tribute site. When the photos were shared on social media, fan clubs gained thousands of new fans. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She wanted her high-school graduation to be held in Florida. After completing her graduation in 1974, she decided to change her life through her work experience. Alyce has a sister who is an accomplished professor. She is also an instructor at a university and receives support from her family. Alyce's family lives in Texas as a father works for U.S. Army. In three years they celebrated their father's 92nd birthday. Alyce uploaded a photo of her gorgeous daughter on Facebook to recognize her father's service in the U.S. Army. Alyce also motivates her daughter to concentrate on schooling. She has been awarded the National Merit Scholarship at the university, and she will celebrate her 22nd Birthday in 2022.
